Hello Explorers! Thanks for the overwhelming response to our #TheWhitePeaks Contest. The winner of the contest is Aditi Mathur Kumar who has won two nights complimentary stay at boutique himalayan homestay – The White Peaks.

Aditi’s response on Facebook, I am sure has inspired many. This is what she has to say about her favorite way of spending a mountain holiday – ” The Himalayas are my first love, and there is nothing more magical than waking up to a stunning view of a ochre sun rising lazily from behind the mighty mountain peaks. I like to disconnect from technology, except maybe a Kindle stacked with a million books! I love exploring the trails around me and meeting local “pahadi” folks with sparkling eyes and a ready smile, to click a million pictures of every mountain view just because I can never get enough of it, and Just Be There, witnessing the overwhelming sound of the mountains (it’s spell bounding, if you pay attention). When in the mountains, I like to breathe deep and celebrate the are moments of peace and calm. Those are my favourite ways to spend a mountain holiday.” Beautiful, right? She tagged her brother and mother on the post, with who she would like to go on a mountain holiday.
