Hyatt
Hyatt Regency Kathmandu checks all the right boxes and is just the kind of hotel one looks for when planning a relaxing sojourn. The hotel, located a short drive away from the airport,  promises magnificent views and tantalizing food besides comfortable rooms.
The beautiful islands of Maldives surrounded by turquoise waters have been a natural choice for Indian travelers this pandemic. Maldives offers visa on arrival, does not mandate vaccination and since the resorts are spread over an island, it makes physical distancing easier. So when the second wave subsided and Maldives reopened for Indians, welcoming them with open arms, I decided to hop on the short four-hour flight to the Maldives.

Chef Cyrus Todiwala has won over UK with his culinary skills. Now he has journeyed back to India to establish his fifth restaurant -- The River Restaurant -- at a new boutique resort property called Acron Waterfront Resort in Goa. Whether you are dining indoors or outdoors, The River Restaurant appeals at many levels. The 60-seater Parisian-styled eatery is committed to the development of dishes that make full use of Goa's fresh seafood and wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Although authenticity is important, innovation is the buzz word at The River Restaurant. Therefore local flavours are explored, new textures are experimented with and tastes are evolved. Pork, for instance, a staple Goan ingredient comes to your plate at The River Restaurant in these quaint tartlets that leave you asking for more. Though in its Assado avatar, it tastes just as good.
the grill room
There is a certain childlike excitement cum anticipation brewing underneath us as the lift rises up to the 28th floor of ‘The Lalit’ taking us towards the newly revamped ‘The Grill Room’. The magnificent view of central Delhi notwithstanding, the real excitement lied in the desire to taste some sumptuous grilled cuisine that this restaurant promises. As I sat down getting ready for my dinner, I couldn’t help but wonder at the view of the outside — pretty much the best parts of New Delhi but I’ll be hard-pressed to find a quality steak house anywhere down there. Hours of watching the Anthony Bourdains and the Adam Richmonds on the television screens these days invariably brings to the fore the desire to taste quality steaks — something that is really ‘rare’ in this city and I am not talking about the way I like my steak! In a conservative society like ours, ‘beef’ is still a complete no-no but a true non-vegetarian palate is incomplete without tasting a prime cut of beef.
MoMo Café located at the Courtyard by Marriott in Gurgaon managed tickling our tastebuds with its delightful Champagne Brunch. MoMo Cafe has been consistent with its food and each time we have visited the restaurant for a meal it has never disappointed us, be it lunch or dinner. The new-look brunch launched on the first Sunday of August offers free-flowing GH Mumm champagne along with a mouth-watering. The brunch has everything for everyone- from Sushis to live grills, from pastas to biryanis. Talking about the ambience well the Momo Cafe, which hosts the Brunch, was just buzzing with life even early on a lazy Sunday morning.
