Sunday Delights: MoMo Café @ Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon

Sunday Brunch is the new black- almost every star hotel offers one these days and foodies are lapping it up. Visit any star hotel for a Sunday Brunch and it’s not only hotel residents who will be busy enjoying the delightful spread, but you will see the quintessential locals too thronging the place.

Not everybody gets it right though. Some fail to create the ambience, others are overpriced and some other don’t serve the right bubbly and cocktails. But MoMo Café located at the Courtyard by Marriott in Gurgaon managed tickling our tastebuds with its delightful Champagne Brunch. MoMo Cafe has been consistent with its food and each time we have visited the restaurant for a meal it has never disappointed us, be it lunch or dinner.

The new-look brunch launched on the first Sunday of August offers free-flowing GH Mumm champagne along with a mouth-watering. The brunch has everything for everyone- from Sushis to live grills, from pastas to biryanis. Talking about the ambience well the Momo Cafe, which hosts the Brunch, was just buzzing with life even early on a lazy Sunday morning.

While it sure impressed us with its free flowing Champagne, the choice of red and white wine and fresh cocktails including eternal favourites Mojito and Bloody Mary were great too. Guests can also indulge in Ballantine, Absolut , an Ultra-Premium single estate handcrafted luxury vodka, Beefeater premium gin and of course chilled beer.

The buffet variety includes sushis, burger, home-style bharta, Spanish omelettes and fresh oven-grilled pizzas. For your sweet tooth there’s tiramisu and panacotta all paired with your favorite beverage! It also offers a wide range of delectable treats to choose from breakfast favorites like hot waffles and eggs Benedict. In main course you must try the pot stickers, roast leg of ham and various barbequed delights including lovely grilled tenderloin.

Sunday is also a time to spend with your family. Young diners can also have their own space with kid-friendly entertainment and nibbles at the café. The buffet offers a kid’s friendly menu with a selection of appetizers like fresh fruit slush, candy floss, donuts, macaroons, chocolate dipped strawberries along with some healthy options too -freshly baked breads, eggs, salads and of course an array of desserts. Go indulge!
